You keep reaching for the same tired blazer in your closet when you have to do an interview because it’s safe but it’s not giving off expert, CEO energy and you know it.
You can’t bring yourself to book a photo shoot because you don't have the time or emotional bandwidth to figure out what’s going to flatter your body on camera and look great with your website and branding.
You’ve pretty much worn out your yoga pants from daily wear and struggle to accurately describe your ideal personal style beyond “comfortable”.
You take more time trying to figure out how to look “put together” to record a one minute Instagram story than you care to admit.
You’ve found yourself running to stores to find an outfit the day before a keynote that you’ve agonized over... only to end up crying in the dressing room and wondering why nothing looks good.
The cost of you not having a wardrobe that makes you feel vibrant, excited, and powerful, at any size and shape is that you aren’t fully showing up in your business or your life.
You’re not showing up to fully engage with potential clients.
You’re not showing up fully for opportunities that could increase your visibility and grow your brand.
Most importantly, you’re not showing up for you.
Your weight and shape is not what’s getting in the way of you finding your style.
Deciding what message you want to send when you get dressed became a part of your job when you became a business owner.
Not having the tools you need to understand how to dress your body the way you want is the real (and totally fixable) obstacle.
You take one step forward and head to the store or hop on your computer to buy some new clothes.
You feel discouraged when things don’t fit the way you wish they would or you can’t seem to put all the pieces together to create cohesive outfits.
So, you give up trying and settle for something in your closet that doesn’t particularly light you up but it’s safe and it will do.
Until the next time you have to be visible, panic about what you’re going to wear, and start the cycle all over again.
This cycle wears away at your confidence and makes putting yourself out there as the face of your brand so much harder than it needs to be.
That’s exactly what the framework I teach in the Style Your Brand Workshop will help you do-- break your negative visibility cycle.
From clearing your limiting beliefs about your style to breaking down your visual brand across multiple contexts of your life so it feels cohesive and easy to shop for, you’ll create a blueprint of your own signatures style.
The Style Your Brand Workshop started as a note in my phone to help me, a personal stylist of nine years navigate my own next level of visibility in my business while privately battling five years of infertility and loss.
In 2018, four years into my infertility struggle, my business exploded. Seemingly out of nowhere, I was offered a massive styling contract with a major brand. The offer required me to not only plan the creative direction of the project, it explicitly stated that I was to be featured on video. I was incredibly insecure about my body and fluctuating weight during the IVF process.
I panicked thinking about how horrible it would be to see myself on camera. I went back to the brand and asked if it was possible to change the portion of the contract requiring me to be on camera. They said no.
They wanted to show that their brand was endorsed by a stylist with my level of expertise and me being on camera would do just that. I immediately began drafting my email response letting them know that I would have to politely decline. There was no way I was going to add the torment of seeing myself on camera to the mounting stress and sadness I was experiencing in my personal life.
One night, before I had hit send on the email declining the opportunity, I was on the phone with a stylist friend explaining why I would (obviously) be turning down the contract. When I was done speaking she said:
“Nicole, if you turn this down you aren’t giving other women who could see the campaign a chance to see someone who looks like them doing what you do. We both know these brands are notorious for hiring young models that most women can’t relate to. You need to do this.”
My work as a stylist has always been motivated by giving women the opportunity to feel good about themselves so they can be examples of what’s possible for other women and for the world at large. Now it was time for me to do the same for myself.
I signed the contract and immediately began creating a process for myself to follow so I could be more objective about my own style and less emotional. I began viewing my style as a form of communication on behalf of my brand and started incorporating principles I was taught about branding and messaging from my past career in PR and corporate communications.
Combining principles of non-verbal communication with my years of knowledge as a stylist yielded a powerful framework that is now the Style Your Brand Workshop.
Each week of the workshop, we’ll break down how to identify the type of style you truly want and what that style communicates. Using the Style Your Brand framework, you’ll go from inspiration images to fully styled outfits in your closet. You’ll create a unique-to-you style guide, and a plan for what to wear in the different contexts of your life and business.
In order to get the most out of this workshop, you’ll need to interact with your wardrobe. You’re highly encouraged to ask questions, share your inspiration images, tell us your closet edit discoveries, and share photos of outfits you’ve styled during our time together. The number of spots in this workshop are limited so that every woman can get direct feedback and coaching.
Learn the shapes and cuts of clothing that look best on your body shape, with additional guides and tips for dressing plus, petite, and tall sizes. You’ll also get access to my continuously updated shopping spreadsheet broken down by price, size, and style type so you’ll always know what brands are right for your body, style, and budget.
Built into the Style Your Brand Workshop is the opportunity to take small actions towards being more visible. By contributing to and engaging in the private, small group component of the workshop, you’ll connect with other women who are building their personal brand and working on increasing their visibility just like you.

"The program completely exceeded my expectations. Nicole's process is about so much more than finding flattering clothes! She brings together her background in publicity and non-verbal communication to help us align our wardrobe with all the different real-life environments that we show up in. From attending a big conference to video meetings, I'm more confident than ever that my brand is completely aligned on and off camera."
Stacey Harris - CEO of Uncommonly More
“Before I did my closet edit with Nicole, I was nervous! As soon as she set foot in my closet I immediately relaxed because of Nicole’s kind and professional approach. This experience went far beyond my expectation of a superficial “this stays and that goes” closet edit. During our time together Nicole completely transformed how I view my body and tapped into the deeper subconscious thought patterns that have prevented me from fully showing up with all my confidence and power in public. She is an absolute MUST HAVE secret weapon if you are looking to step into your highest level of visibility in your business or life.”
Hanneke Antonelli, Business Coach
"The tools Nicole gave us has totally changed the way I think about clothes...and my entire mindset about how I present myself. The strategies she gave us have stuck with me and months later they help me override the negative self talk that can creep in when I’m getting dressed. Truly life changing."
Tara Newman - Business Coach
"The course was very comprehensive. I defined my personal style and put outfits together that look cohesive and like the outfits I'd always dreamed of wearing.
This workshop was a growth-oriented, confidence-building experience both for me as a business owner and for me personally. Nicole was highly knowledgeable and supportive."
